5. Scope of Work
The scope of work includes execution of DI pipeline works and associated civil activities as per HMWS&SB specifications:
- Excavation of pipeline trenches in all types of soils
- Laying and jointing of 150mm dia DI K7 pipelines
- Lowering of pipes and specials into trenches
- Construction and fixing of RCC precast manhole chambers
- Jointing of DI/CI pipes with D/F and Tyton joints
- Cutting of existing DI/CI pipelines
- Road cutting of CC surfaces
- Dummy arrangements for pipeline connections
- Conveyance of pipes and materials to site
- Testing and commissioning of pipeline

7. Technical Requirements
- All materials shall conform to HMWS&SB and IS standards
- Proper alignment and gradient shall be maintained
- Jointing shall be leak-proof and tested under pressure
- Safety measures must be followed during execution
- Existing utilities shall be protected during execution
8. General Conditions
- Contractor shall arrange all labour, machinery, tools, and equipment
- Site shall be cleared after completion of work
- Payment shall be based on recorded measurements
- Work shall be completed within stipulated time
9. Special Instructions
- Traffic management shall be ensured during road cutting works
- Proper finishing and restoration of CC roads is mandatory
- Pipeline testing shall be conducted before commissioning
