5. Scope of Work
The scope of work includes execution of sewerage pipeline and associated civil works as per HMWS&SB specifications:
- Excavation of trenches in all types of soil including hard rock
- Laying and jointing of 300mm dia SWG pipelines
- Construction of sewer manholes (0.90m internal diameter)
- Additional manhole depth construction and finishing works
- Redoing of domestic sewer connections (100mm & 150mm dia)
- Redoing of domestic water supply connections (15mm dia)
- Road cutting and restoration works (CC roads)
- Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) works
- Barricading, hoarding, and safety arrangements
- Carting away surplus excavated materials
- Testing and commissioning of pipeline

7. Technical Requirements
- All materials shall conform to HMWS&SB standards and IS specifications
- Proper alignment, gradient, and jointing shall be maintained
- Safety precautions must be strictly followed during execution
- Existing utilities such as water lines, cables, and drains must not be disturbed
8. General Conditions
- Contractor shall arrange all labour, machinery, tools, and equipment
- Site shall be cleared after completion of work
- Payment shall be made based on recorded measurements
- Work shall be executed within stipulated time
9. Special Instructions
- Traffic diversion and public safety measures shall be ensured
- Proper curing and finishing for concrete works is mandatory
- Testing of sewer pipeline shall be carried out before commissioning
